Cruise the Bannockburn Vineyards by eBike and sample the distinctive and complex wines this region is producing.
Where the Kawarau river slows down and meets Lake Dunstan it's known as Bannockburn. This is truly the heart of the Pinot Noir growing region and a much quieter ride than the Gibbston Valley.
You will cruise from Pisa Moorings to Cromwell alongside Lake Dunstan which is an easy 16km track. Your first stop will be the Cromwell Heritage Precinct with buildings dating back to the gold rush of the 1860’s. Grab a coffee and take a look around before following the Kawarau arm of Lake Dunstan to the Bannockburn bridge an easy 7km ride. Here you meet up with the Dunstan Cycle Trail which winds its way to your first stop the Carrick Winery. From here follow our special marked trail to any of six wineries or dining spots around Bannockburn.
When you've had enough fun just let me know and I will come get you and drop you home safe.

Cromwell Heritage Precinct.
The Clyde dam was completed in 1990 which meant Cromwell’s main road disappeared under Lake Dunstan. The historic buildings from the gold rush of the 1860s were saved on higher ground, thus making the Cromwell Heritage Precinct.
