Cromwell Heritage Precinct.

The Clyde dam was completed in 1990 which meant Cromwell’s main road disappeared under Lake Dunstan. The historic buildings from the gold rush of the 1860s were saved on higher ground, thus making the Cromwell Heritage Precinct.
